  1. First of all, I love what you’re doing especially with your special abilities photography! Big fan.
I saw a pic on fb of a little girl with the caption “the only disability in life is a bad attitude.” Love it! I was wondering if you do any posters or anything? I’d love that reminder hanging on my wall… ๐Ÿ™‚

    Thanks!

  2. Hi. I saw one of your pictures of a young girl with Down’s syndrome and a typical boy on Facebook . She had the best smile and the caption read ” the only disability is your attitude”. I LOVE this image and quote and would really like to put it in my office. I am a high school vice principal and am in charge of our special needs department. Is there any way I can get a poster made of this?

    Many thanks,
    Jane Reynolds.

  3. Hi Kerri
there is a picture going around facebook that I LOVE: at the top it says in script “the only disability in life is a bad attitude” and it is a photo of a happy beautiful kid with down syndrome, hair all wet, face all smiles – beaming into the face of another, darker haired child, presumably a boy (short hair). It is a beautiful picture…reminds me of the little one with Down syndrome that I know. Thanks for putting it out there on facebook to touch and encourage all of us. ๐Ÿ˜€

      • That is one of the most joyful pictures I have ever seen. This is saying something. I managed a portrait studio for 8 years, and networked with a lot of photographers, critiquing their work, I love running across it on facebook. I know it is a personal picture of your children, but I would love to purchase a copy to frame, it makes me feel that good when I see it. Uplifting. If not, I understand, but if you would sell me a 5×7, please contact me with the details. Thanks, and you have gorgeous children.

  4. Hi Kerri, I also would love to purchace the above mentioned photo of your sons. The smile on the little one as he looks at his brother is so full of love and happiness one can’t help but smile and feel good when looking at His little face. I work at a school in Canada and some of our Children have special needs, I think it would be a wonderful addition to my office.

  5. Do you make note cards?
Love the one of the boys at the beach.
    Say 25.
You can go to vistaprint.com & print them really cheap & good quality, I have dabbled.
    What do you think?
    Thanks,
    Dona

  6. Just wanted to say I have just come across your website and the photographs are some of the most beautiful I’ve every seen x

  7. Hi Kerri, Just wanted to say thanks for posting your photo of the two boys. Not only does it do so much good being out there, but personally it warmed my heart and made my day, so so beautiful!!! You are so talented in what you see and put into photography! I just want to hug that little boy!

  8. I have just seen a photograph of yours on Facebook, it’s of a gorgeous Down syndrome girl with the words “the only disability in life is a bad attitude”. I would love to purchase this print if possible. Please can you tell me how.

    Many thanks,

    Louise

  9. I’m a high school teacher and I’d like to show your picture (on the screen) for a writing “talk about” with your permission. I simply ask them to tal/write about what they see. Also, can you give me some more background with the beautiful picture. I know it’s your sons. I wouldn’t tell my students until they write and express their thoughts. Then I like to tell them “the real story” behind the photo. Thank you. Laurie Kiester, Nampa, Idaho

  10. I saw a poster on FB that said Children with special needs arenโ€™t sent to special parentsโ€ฆthey make parents special. Is that poster available to buy? I love it! It is so true.

  11. I just ordered a poster. These posts are from a while back, so I hope you still have them. I opened a full inclusion academic preschool in Clear Lake. We accept ALL children and it has been a wonderful experience watching these children accept one another regardless of their “distinct abilities”. I want to hang this on the wall at the school. Your work is beautiful!
